New INNOGEN Masters Studentship for 2009/10

The ESRC Innogen Centre at the University of Edinburgh announces a new masters studentship for the academic year 2009/10.

The studentship will provide support for a full-time student on either the MSc Science and Technology Studies or the MSc Science and Technology Policy and Management.

The studentship covers the costs of the University UK/EU fees for the one-year full-time course - £4,850 - plus £450 research expenses.  Applications are invited from within or outside the European Union, but the studentship does not cover the full costs of fees for non-EU students.

The studentship holder must pursue study in either of the programmes MSc Science and Technology Studies or MSc Science and Technology Policy and Management in the School of Social and Political Science.  Additionally, the student must undertake to follow the Life Sciences and Biotechnology specialist strand within either of these programmes and complete a thesis on a related topic.

More information on the studentship, including details of the application procedure and criteria for selection can be found at http://www.issti.ed.ac.uk/study
