Wee Voices: Lessons from Action Research
MSc Social Research student Naomi Maynard has produced a report from her placement-based dissertation work with Mairi Ferris at Fife Council.
The staff of Social Policy offer their congratulations to Naomi Maynard, on the publication of a research report based on her recent MSc dissertation. You can view the report here.
Naomi's research was undertaken as part of her studies for the MSc in Social Research. As part of the MSc in Social Research, students are able to experience a placement based dissertation in a local organisation. Recently, students have had placements with the Scottish Government, ScotCen, The Wise Group, the North Edinburgh Trust and Fife Council. This report is the product of one such successful collaboration between the University of Edinburgh and in this particular case, Fife Council. Many thanks to our partners at Fife Council, in particular to Mairi Ferris. Naomi is now employed as a Social Researcher in London.
