Jo Campling Memorial Prize 2011
We are delighted that one of our graduating MSW students, Mark Hardy, has won the 2011 Jo Campling Memorial Prize.
The prize is awarded for the best postgraduate essay on a theme related to Ethics and Social Welfare. Mark receives a cash prize and his winning entry, 'Shift Recording in Residential Child Care', will be published in the journal 'Ethics and Social Welfare'.
This is the second year in succession that an Edinburgh University social work student has won this prize. Tommy Allan's winning entry for 2010 is published in 'Ethics and Social Welfare' Vol 5 (1), pages 87-94.
