PIR faculty pull 'all-nighter' at US election event

John Peterson and Elizabeth Bomberg spoke at North American Society event marking the US presidential election

For those living in the UK, US presidential elections are always all night affairs. And so it was this year, as Barack Obama and Mitt Romney went head-to-head for the presidency, with Obama being declared the winner at around 4a.m.  It certainly takes stamina to make it to that point.

For hundreds of students at the University, stamina was in plentiful supply as they attended an event, sponsored by the North American Society, at the Teviot Debating Hall.
