School of Social and Political Science: About

Green Gold For CMB!

A dedicated team led by Caroline Foord (UGTO) has led SPS to a Gold Award in the latest Edinburgh Sustainability Awards.

The University’s Sustainability Awards recognise the efforts of staff and students to make their School, building, lab or department more sustainable and socially responsible. Gold is the highest award and requires teams to take action and record achievements across six different themes, including sustainable transport, energy,  resource management, diversity and fair trade. Team members this year included students, administrative and academic staff: Caroline Foord, Elizabeth Tiffany, Meredith Adams, Connor Lally, Claire Haney, Ronan Docherty, Liz Teixeira De Mattos, and CMB energy coordinator Elizabeth Bomberg. Well done all. Please see the University website for more Sustainability News.
