Professor Viv Cree to give Howard League Lecture

Professor Viv Cree has been invited to give the Howard League lecture, on moral panics and young people. The lecture will take place on 12th March 2014 at 5.30pm, LT270, Law School, University of Edinburgh.

Viv will speak about the ways in which we think about young people today, questioning whether they are subject to a moral panic or moral crusade. She will also speak about citizenship in terms of whose voice is being heard.

This lecture is one of a series on Citizenship, organised by the Howard League for Penal Reform in Scotland and held in association with Edinburgh Law School, Centre for Law and Society. The lecture will be chaired by Sheriff Frank Crowe.
