EUSA Teaching Awards - 2016 Shortlist

SPS shortlisted in four categories at this year's EUSA Teaching Awards.

The awards are designed to recognise teachers, support staff and peer support leaders who have made a positive impact on the student learning experience.

Improving on last year's success at the 2015 awards, SPS staff, students and courses have been shortlisted in four different categories including Best Student Who Tutors, Innovative Assessment, Best Support Staff and Best Course:

Best Student who Tutors - Alex Gapud, Social Anthropology

Innovative Assessment - SPS in Practice

Best Support Staff - Sue Renton, Student Experience Officer

Best Course - SPS in Practice

SPS were well represented in 2015, with three members of our staff reaching the shortlist, more than any other School, and Dr Alison Koslowski picking up the award for Best Personal Tutor. We are extremely proud that our staff and students have again been shortlisted and look forward to future success.

The event provides a great opportunity to highlight the strength of teaching within our School and is especially important since all of the awards are voted for and judged by students themselves.

Full details of the 2016 shortlist can be found on the EUSA website.
