SPS Students Reach 3 Minute Thesis Final

SPS was represented by Tim Squirrell, first year PhD, and William Kerr, fourth year PhD, at the CAHSS Heat of the International 3 Minute Thesis competition.

The heat saw Tim and William competing against nine other entrants from across the College, and all presentations were of an incredibly high standard. After deliberations, Tim was announced as runner up and William was judged to be the overall winner of the heat.

Both will now proceed to the University finals where they will compete against 7 other entrants from across the 3 colleges. If successful, they will then progress to the national competition. Many congratulations to Tim and William and good luck for the next round.
