SPS Subject Areas Reach Top 50 in QS World Rankings
Five of our SPS subject areas have reached the top 50 in this year's QS World University Rankings by Subject.
For the sixth year running, Sociology has earned a spot in the top 20, placing 19th in the world. Development Studies and Social Anthropology have both climbed to 21st place, whilst Social Policy has climbed to 22nd. Politics and International Relations currently sits in 44th place.
The QS World University Rankings highlight the world’s top universities over a range of 42 subjects and are based on a combination of academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.
The 2017 rankings are a great achievement for SPS, highlighting the quality of teaching and research within our School as well as our strong emphasis on graduate employability.
