Equality Collective

We warmly invite all staff and students with interests in equality and inequality to join us as we build an Equality Collective together.

We aim to be partly a research network, sharing in activities such as workshops and reading groups. But we also aim to be an egalitarian community. We not only want to study and learn about equalities together, but we also want to exemplify equality in our collective endeavours. We aim to organise ourselves around our shared commitment to equality as a Collective.

We welcome members of academic staff, professional services, and students into our community.

Our first gathering will be held on Tuesday 24th April, 11am-12pm, CMB 6th Floor Staff Room. We will talk about our core values, ideas for organising ourselves, and activities we’d like to do.

For further information, and to join the Equality Collective email list, please contact Dr Philip Cook (Lecturer in Political Theory) at philip.cook@ed.ac.uk.
