School of Social and Political Science: About the school

Our School is keen to further the University's commitment to sustainability on campus and beyond.

We produce leading research on global environmental issues. We offer a suite of courses and degrees - at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels- designed to prepare students to address global challenges linked to climate change, biodiversity, poverty and development.

In 2012 and again in 2013, the SPS team achieved bronze in the Edinburgh Sustainability Awards.

A team made up of students and staff will meet throughout 2013-14 to develop strategies to ensure we in CMB can achieve a Gold Award in 2014. If you are interested in joining or finding out more, contact Elizabeth Bomberg.
