Second CeSeR Conference! International Security after Brexit and Trump

On 22 June 2017 to mark a year since the EU Referendum in the UK, CeSeR hosted a conference on International Security after Brexit and Trump.

We welcomed junior and senior researchers from the UK, the US and continental Europe to discuss the implications of the result of the EU Referendum and the election of Donald J. Trump as US President in 2016. The conference drew an audience of more than a dozen interested local researchers and students and led to lively discussions which were continued at a reception and a dinner evening.

The panels featured:
- Populism/Fascism
- US-Transatlantic Relationship/NATO
- Brexit/UK/EU
- US/Capitalism/the World

Our keynote speaker was Professor Brent J. Steele (Utah University)
