FPA Research Network

Foreign Policy Analysis Research Network

Welcome to the Foreign Policy Analysis Research Network. We are a research group within the Centre for Security Research. We welcome research students and staff from across Politics and International Relations at Edinburgh, and beyond. The group's aim is to provide peer support to staff and PhD students working on foreign policy research, from foreign policy analysis to political psychology and role research. Members have the opportunity to present their work and receive feedback in an intensive but friendly environment. The research group meets several times per semester with papers circulated in advance and the expectation that all attendees have read the papers.

To learn more about the Foreign Policy Analysis Research Network group or attend our next meeting, please contact one of our conveners Victor GigleuxSaskia Smellie and Consuelo Thiers Huerta. The group also organizes an annual event. In 2017, it hosted its very first Foreign Policy Analysis and Role Research Conference (pictured above).
