PhD Title

Gender and self-reliance within humanitarian support for Turkey's urban displaced

My research looks at self-reliance as a goal within humanitarian support for displaced urban populations, asking how gender is constructed, understood and navigated within projects aiming to create jobs or incomes for urban refugees in western Turkey.
