The Role of Public Universities in Post-War Processes of Conflict, Peace, and Social Change
Research Project Description
My research seeks to analyze the role that universities play in post-war environments. In particular, it examines how the dynamics of university communities, alongside the shifting landscapes of higher education, influence the ability of universities to engage with issues of conflict, peace, and social change. Fieldwork for the project has been carried out in Sierra Leone and Sri Lanka.
The research is funded by a Perfect Storm Leverhulme Doctoral Scholarship.
