Anthony Salamone is PhD Candidate in British and European Politics at the University of Edinburgh. His research interests focus on the European Union, Scottish-European relations, Brexit and Scottish politics. As an active member of the Edinburgh Europa Institute, he was Founding Managing Editor (2015-2018) of European Futures, its academic blog on Europe, and Co-Convenor (2014-2017) of the Edinburgh Europa Research Group. Anthony is Research Fellow and Strategic Advisor at the Scottish Centre on European Relations, the independent think tank he co-founded with Dr Kirsty Hughes. He has a strong commitment to public engagement on European issues, having organised and chaired numerous panel discussions, lectures, seminars and conference segments, many of which have featured senior figures from Scotland, the UK and the EU.
