Candice Hiu-Yan Yu is a PhD student in the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh. Her research interests include migration, social mobility, citizenship, intimacy, and inter-ethnic relations. She is currently undertaking research into Chinese transnational migration to the UK.
