PhD Title

The trade unions, the left(s) and the unemployed: the politics of unemployment protection in Belgium, France and Italy.

Funded by the Alice Brown Scholarship

My research interests lie in the politics of social and labour market policy and especially in the relations between left of centre parties and trade unions. Daniel Clegg and Niccolo Durazzi supervise my research.

Alongside my part-time PhD, I work for the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) as a Communications Officer. Previously, I have been an Assistant to a Member of the European Parliament, Communications Manager at the European Network for Women in Leadership, and Consultant for political campaigns at both national and European level.

I hold an MSc in Social and Public Policy Research from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an MSc in Comparative Public Policy from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor in EU Affairs from the University of Milan.
