PhD title

Going beyond Transmission: Towards a Greater Understanding of the Transformative Potential of Sustainability Education.

Research questions

1) What are the patterns of change of sustainability-related attitudes, values and behaviours in students undertaking sustainability courses and how can they be explained?

2) In what ways do personal narratives of students and teachers involved in these courses illustrate transformative learning?

3) How can we best design sustainability courses to offer transformative opportunities?
