PhD Title
Mediated Voices: Nation/State-Building, NGOs and Survivors of Sexual Violence in Postconflict Rwanda and Bosnia-Herzegovina

My research explores the post-conflict experiences of some women who experienced wartime sexual violence in Rwanda and Bosnia-Herzegovina. More precisely, I am exploring their need for social/ethnic belonging and analysing how some non-governmental organisations mediate the social reintegration of these women.
