Taught MSc Students

The MSc Taught Student Handbook 2019-20 contains all relevant information on regulations, communication guidelines, coursework requirements, procedures and support available for students. It is recommended that all on campus students read the handbook carefully before embarking on their programme. Students should refer to the handbook before making contact with office and academic staff to resolve an issue. The Graduate School Office has made every effort to include all necessary information.

There is also an Online Learning MSc Student Handbook 2019-20 for our Online Learning students. The handbook is designed specifically for students studying postgraduate programmes off-campus.

If there are any problems with the handbooks or difficulties locating information about a certain issue or problem, please email the Graduate School Policies and Procedures Secretary (

Policies and procedures described in this handbook may be subject to change. It does not supersede University Regulations, the formal requirements for each degree as set out in the University's Degree Regulations and Programmes of Study and the Taught Assessment Regulations, or the Terms and Conditions of Admission set out in the Postgraduate Prospectus
