Social Work McLean Legacy

There are a small number of awards available for new PhD students in Social Work.  These cover fees at the Home/EU rate and a small research expenses allowance.  These awards are only available for new PhD students; in other respects, their value, terms and conditions are the same as for School Scholarships.  Please note that it is not possible to hold both a School Scholarship and a McLean Legacy award.

Interested applicants should contact the Social Work Postgraduate Advisor in the first instance.

Applicants must be accepted for PhD study before applying for the award.  Applications are made in writing to the Head of Social Work.  The closing date for applications for the studentship in the academic year 2012/2013 is now set for 30th May 2012.
