That first 30 days has gone! What have you done so far, and how does it compare with what you thought you would do?

Join Louisa Lawes, Programme Manger of transkills, Kate Orton-Johnson, Deputy Director of the Grad School, Fiona Mackay, Director, and a team of PhD researchers, in a review of those 30-plus days, and a workshop on how to get a PhD.

Hear about the requirements of the PhD degree at Edinburgh; Discuss the demands of the First Year and the Progress Review Board;  Ask experienced PhD students your questions;  Talk about your experience so far;  Work with experienced postgrads on planning the next steps in your own work; Meet Semester 2 Research Training Course Conveners, hear about the content of the courses and ask them questions before deciding on your courses

And there is a free lunch, coffee, tea and soft drinks!
