Elizabeth is a professor of Environmental Politics & International Relations at Edinburgh and past winner of the Edinburgh University Student Association's teaching award. She convenes GEPS course Global Environmental Politics, and has published widely on comparative environmental politics and policy, sustainable development and US and European Union politics. Elizabeth's current projects include community energy mobilization and and comparative environmental activism. As Dep Diretor of the University's Global Environment Academy she has close contacts with international teams of researchers and has recently spent time as visiting scholar at University of California, Berkeley.

Liz is a lecturer in political theory in Politics & International Relations. She researches climate change ethics and justice, and is the author of Climate Change and the Moral Agent: Individual Duties in an Interdependent World (OUP, 2013). She is currently working on two research projects: one on the intersect between climate justice, global justice & population, and one on whether parents have additional climate duties, owed to their children. Liz convenes GEPS course Climate Change, Justice, and Responsibility.

Isabelle is a lecturer in Sociology, with a focus on the dynamics of capitalism and the shaping of cultural and everyday practices, especially food and music.

Elisa is professor European environmental law, with particular research interests in biodiversity, environmental governance, corporate environmental accountability, and the EU external environmental policy.

Each year we also invite a guest lecturers to take a slots in our core Global Environment: Key Issues course. In 2015, guests included Dr Isabel Fletcher, on food security, Professor Tim Hayward on ecological space, and Dr Appoline Roger on European Union environmental law.
