Fees and Funding
Tuition fees are set by the University annually. For details of the 2019-20 fees please see Postgraduate Tuition Fees selecting 'Fees for Taught Masters programmes' then 'Social Work (MSW)'.
Some bursaries are available to students resident in Scotland, England and the EU respectively. Prospective candidates are strongly advised to clarify their funding situation in advance of applying to the programme.
Scotland and EU
Information regarding bursaries available to Scottish and EU residents can be found on the SSSC website or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org for further information. EU students are entitled to apply for their fees to be paid but cannot claim maintenance costs. Please note this bursary makes a contribution towards the tuition fees but does not cover the entire cost.
Information regarding bursaries available to English residents can be found on the National Service Business Services Authority site or by email email@example.com for further details. Please note this bursary makes a contribution towards the tuition fees but does not cover the entire cost.
Currently there are no bursaries are available for students from Northern Ireland.
Please see Postgraduate Tuition Fees selecting 'Fees for Taught Masters programmes' then 'Social Work (MSW)'. For comparison, fees for a Masters degree in Social Work in the USA may be up to $20,000 per semester.

Edinburgh Graduate Discount Scheme Graduates
The university offers a 10% discount in postgraduate tuition fees for all alumni who have an undergraduate degree from the University of Edinburgh. The scheme applies to both home and overseas students, and applies to the self-funding element of the postgraduate tuition fee. For more information, visit the Scholarships and Student Funding page.
