Scotland and Malawi: An insight into Partnership, Participation and Knowledge Exchange in Education. What are the processes and implications for International Development?
My research focuses on the role of partnerships, participation and knowledge exchange between Schools, Colleges and Universities in Scotland and Malawi. My research considers the focus upon the partnership between Scotland and Malawi including Government policy, Local Authorities and individual institutions. This is a continuation of my MSc research on partnerships and knowledge exchange between government and civil society organisations, based around the Scotland-Malawi Partnership and the 2005 Co-operation Agreement. I also have an interest in the work of NGO's such as LCD International, IDEAS, Open Arms Malawi and Mary's Meals Malawi.
