The IICR is strongly committed to engaging actively with the scholarly community, those professionally involved in public policy in international cultural relations, the wider public and the media.

IICR presents three types of events: (1) Scholarly Conferences, (2) Distinguished Speaker series, (3) interdisciplinary "Cultural Conversations" in a workshop format.

We aim to develop our public presence and impact through collaborative partnerships in order to reach as many audiences as possible in order to contribute to, and inform debate about, international cultural relations.

Our events take place in Scotland and overseas and are a mix of workshops, seminars, lectures and knowledge exchange activities which connect research to practice.
