We are delighted to announce our second annual interdisciplinary workshop exploring how cultures affects translations, symbols, and legacies through the Institute for International Cultural Relations 3 Networks- with a special focus on Edinburgh's own global outlook.
This state of the art event will showcase the role of cultures in international relations, by deepening our research, engaging with external partners (British Council, IFA, Festivals Edinburgh), and building a research platform for the future.
This multi-media workshop will have interactive panels, PechaKucha slide shows, archive displays, as well as key notes lectures from renowned scholars and artists, including Dr Ronald Grätz ,Secretary General at Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations, ifa), Stephen Stenning, Head of Arts and Society at The British Council, and Professor Cameron Thies, President-elect of the International Studies Association.
