Dr Kieran Oberman from the Just World Institute will chair a panel discussion on what ‘socially responsible’ and ‘ethical’ mean in the context of investment. Academics and practitioners from the field will share their insights and views, and invite discussion from the audience.

This event follows the University of Edinburgh’s open consultation on socially responsible investment, which will feed into the university’s approach to investment in future. Dave Gorman, Director of Social Responsibility and Sustainability will discuss some of the results of the consultation. Academics from the Just World Institute will also present their joint paper responding to the consultation.

This public event organised as part of the Just World Institute Ethics Forum seminar series, in collaboration with the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability, is open to all. We hope a fruitful discussion will take place.
