Research

The research of the Just World Institute addresses contemporary global challenges in their political, social, ethical, economic and security dimensions.

Our research links with University-wide Global Academies by providing social scientific and philosophical inputs – for instance the Ethics and Politics of Climate Change; the Ethics and Political economy of International Development - as well as offering distinctive coverage of International Relations, International Security, International Political Theory and Environmental Justice.

The Just World Institute's research and intellectual community are supported by three standing research groups - in Political Theory, International Relations, and Migration & Citizenship - which each hold regular research seminars. We also work closely with scholars of International Political Economy in the Europa Institute.

In addition to its Social and Political Scientists, the Institute's research also involves the work of associate members in other areas such as Law, Philosophy and Divinity.
