Open Access is a way of making research outputs more widely read, cited and used. The University of Edinburgh supports its staff in making their research Open Access.
Research Publication Policy
The Research Publications Policy became a formal requirement in January 2010 and requires researchers to deposit their research outputs in the University's publications repository, PURE and, where possible, to make all research outputs available as open access, in order to maximise the visibility of the University's research.
