Our Degree Programmes
We offer undergraduate degree programmes across key areas including Politics, International Relations, Social Anthropology, Social Policy, Sociology, Social Work and Sustainable Development as well as our Q-Step degrees which aim to equip students with advanced quantitative skills needed by the social scientists of tomorrow.
Our international community of students and staff undertake a wide variety of learning, teaching, research and engagement activities. Our interdisciplinary focus cuts across traditional social scientific boundaries, creating a vibrant and stimulating environment in which to work and study.
What will I study?
Our undergraduate degree programmes explore the social and political challenges that face society today - from politics and social policy to sustainable development and sociology. The range of courses available across our undergraduate degrees reflects the diversity of our academic staff - with broad-based courses in core subject areas as well as more specialised courses such as Science, Technology & Innovation Studies.
The School of Social and Political Science sits within the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS). All enquiries and applications relating to undergraduate admissions to the School of Social and Political Science are handled at College level.
