Inaugural Lectures

Introduction

Inaugural lectures provide an opportunity for a newly appointed or promoted professor to introduce their work, and themselves, to the University community.

Lectures from our professors focus on past, present and - at times - future contributions to the field, as well as personal reflections and memories. They also provide an opportunity for friends, family, colleagues and students to gather to celebrate a career milestone.

Attendance is free and open to the University community as well as to the public.
