Overview
Description
If you would like to join the Work, Economy & Welfare Group, or have questions about its activities, please contact Elke Heins (elke.heins@ed.ac.uk) or Lukas Lehner (Lukas.Lehner@ed.ac.uk)
The Work, Economy & Welfare Research Group brings together faculty and research students, from across the School of Social & Political Science, who share an interest in understanding the historical evolution of labour markets and social protection systems and how those markets and systems are affected by current socio-economic transformations.
Research group members approach these topics from a variety of disciplinary approaches, including social policy, political science, and sociology. The research group serves primarily as a forum for faculty and research students to present their work in progress and receive feedback on it.
