Background
My doctoral research explores how Norwegian folk high school education uses Lutheran rituals, service projects, and international study trips to create embodied value formations that inform how students view global relationships, the climate crisis, and the future. My work employs multimodal ethnographic methods that include film, storytelling, music, photography, and mixed media.
