Background

Shanda develops and implements the School of Social and Political Science strategy for promoting and supporting external research funding and School participation in a range of funding opportunities.  She has an extensive background in international development and humanitarian aid coordination, coupled with significant experience in the Middle East. Shanda's expertise spans operations management, proposal writing, tendering, team building, third sector management, and organizational development. Academic accomplishments include an MSc in International Public Policy from University College London and a BA in Political Science from Concordia, Montreal. Shanda's qualifications as a CMI-certified consultant and her certification in security management in complex environments further broaden her expertise.
