Description
How do we craft research in feminist ways that center questions of ethics, gender, and inclusion? Professor Ana Marija Sobočan from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Work, Slovenia, who works in the field of ethics in social work, will offer brief comments drawing on her own work in disability studies, ethics in social work, and gendered approaches to research. Situating our conversations through her comments, we then invite participants to share their own research puzzles and conundrums. What thorny questions related to feminist positionality, material inequalities in the field, trust, or politics might you be working through? Participants will share their questions and concerns, followed by group discussion guided by Dr. Sobočan in a close-knit seminar-style format.
To attend, please email: AnaMarija.Sobocan@fsd.uni-lj.si with your research puzzle or simply to attend. In collaboration with the Early Career Academic Network (ECAN).
