Description
Working with stakeholders and external partners is something that academics are frequently encouraged to do - but how do we do it well? What are the pitfalls to avoid?
How do we negotiate difficult questions of power relationships, organisational dynamics and our own time and wellbeing in order to produce positive outcomes?
We're excited to launch our Impact and Engagement workshop series with contributions from two colleagues - Casey High of Social Anthropology and George Palattiyil of Social Work - who will be getting our conversation started by sharing their direct and diverse experience of negotiating these knotty questions.
The Impact and Engagement workshop series aims to offer a stimulating and encouraging space for colleagues to share experience on how to make impact and engagement work, and work for you.
The event will take place in the Violet Laidlaw Room, Chrystal Macmillan Building from 1.00-2.00pm on Thursday 16th November.
