The Consultancy Archive in Africa
Consultancy research is the most prominent form of knowledge production in African Social Sciences and Humanities in Africa. Through a discussion of the social conditions of knowledge production in Africa, this article explores the potential and limits of consultancy research as a dominant form of knowledge production. By tapping into the consultancy archive, a set of methodological insights emerge to further current debates on the decolonization of knowledge and the integration of social sciences and humanities knowledge at the centre of public policy debates.
