Join us for the Culture and Race workshop series, designed to enhance intercultural awareness and support our diverse cohort of multiracial and international students. In this session, Intercultural & Anti-Discrimination Adviser, Lilian Lee, and Senior Lecturer, Dr Jingyi Li, will focus on the diverse experiences of Chinese students at the University of Edinburgh. 

Topics will include cultural differences, experiences of racism and social exclusion, and communication challenges. The session will provide practical understanding of some Chinese concepts that may influence behaviour and communication and will explore effective strategies for staff to connect with Chinese students. 

The workshop will be hosted by SPS EDI Committee. Coffee, tea, and pastries will be provided.
