Description
Title: Live Fighting or Die Working: Labor Time, Union Struggles, and Future of the American Working Class
Abstract:
In this seminar, I will explore the pandemic from the standpoint of the essential working class in the US. How can unions and other labor organizations respond to the current crisis? I will draw on two books and my public health research to situate today's labor struggles in recent history.
