This is the first of a series of events (in-person and online) on the use of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests in social research, and features Gary Ruskin, Executive Director of U.S. Right to Know

The event is funded by the National Centre for Research Methods and organised by Kathrin Lauber, Eleanor Brooks and Rob Ralston in the School of Social and Political Science at the University of Edinburgh.

Gary has worked on FOI-based research for decades.

The event will include plenty of time for discussion with the audience.
