In this workshop, we will hear from editors of publishing houses in the social sciences, and of academics working with them. After their presentations, there will be an opportunity for discussion.

The speakers are:

• Robert Dreesen, Senior Editor for Economics, Finance and Politics at Cambridge University Press
• Jenny Tan, Associate Editor for ethnography, anthropology, political studies, medieval, Renaissance, and early modern studies at University of Pennsylvania Press
• Naomi Haynes, Academic Co-Editor of Bloomsbury’s New Directions in the Anthropology of Christianity

The workshop is part of a series of events around publishing, targeted at colleagues in the School of Social and Political Science at the University of Edinburgh, but open to all.
