In this workshop, we will hear from editors of trade books, and from academics working with them. After their presentations, there will be an opportunity for discussion.

The speakers are:

• Becky Hardie, Deputy Publishing Director at Chatto & Windus
• Nicola Barr, Literary Agent at the Bent Agency
• Elizabeth Cripps, Senior Lecturer in Political Theory and author of What Climate Justice Means And Why We Should Care (Bloomsbury 2022)

The workshop is part of a series of events around publishing, targeted at colleagues in the School of Social and Political Science at the University of Edinburgh, but open to all.
