Description

Join us for a full day of engaging talks, shared insights and connection.

Our annual conference is an exciting opportunity to showcase fresh projects and explore how they make a difference across research, policy, teaching and practice.

Come help shape what comes next for social work research at Edinburgh!

Our conference will feature a wide range of talks by staff and students, with a keynote lecture from our guest speaker Dr Gillian MacIntyre, Reader in Social Work, University of Strathclyde.

Dr MacIntyre’s research has been at the forefront of efforts in Scotland to improve practice around participation and co-production in Adult Social Work and we are thrilled to hear more about her current work in this area.

This is an in-person event. Attendees will be provided with a full agenda and schedule in due course.

Refreshments and a light lunch will be served.

Deadline to sign up to attend: Monday 1st June 2026, 2:00pm.
