Hosted by Sociology, Dr Timmon Wallis, will introduce his book and take questions. He will argue that if this isn’t an election issue, it should be.

Dr Wallis provides an evidence-based account of the opportunity to “feed two birds with one scone” by converting investment in weapons of mass destruction into good jobs in climate solutions. 

He also provides an evidence-based account of the misinformation, propaganda and vested interests that distract from this opportunity.
