Head of Social Work George Palattiyil has been appointed as Senior Research Associate with the Department of Social Work and Community Development at the University of Johannesburg.
George’s appointment is within the university’s Faculty of Humanities, where there is a thriving research culture and a commitment to the aims of social justice enhancement and the promotion of equality.
As an Associate, George’s work will include collaborating on research projects, publications, postgraduate supervision and research grant applications.
George said: "I am delighted to be appointed to this role and very much look forward to collaborating with colleagues in the Department of Social Work and Community Development at the University of Johannesburg."
The role is until June 2025.
