Background

I obtained my PhD from the University of Strathclyde in 2019. After working on various postdoctoral projects at the University of Glasgow, I joined Edinburgh PIR in January 2024. My main research interests are campaign pledges and Scottish voting behaviour. Since 2021 I have been a member of the Scottish Election Study team, leading the launch and development of the project's ongoing Scottish Opinion Monitor polling series. Outside of work, I'm a keen fan of Aberdeen FC, Bad Bunny and Nintendo.
