Background

I came to Edinburgh from the University of Dundee, where I worked in researcher development. Before that I was a lecturer at the University of St Andrews School of International Relations' Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence, where I was extensively involved in a range of Knowledge Exchange related activities. 

Roles and responsibilities

As a Knowledge Exchange and Impact Manager I help advise researchers within the School of Social and Political Science on how to maximise the KE and Impact potential of their research, strengthen grant applications in this area, and develop relevant School strategy.
