Background

Kajetan Cegłowski is a PhD candidate in Politics and International Relations. He obtained an MPhil degree in Peacebuilding and Mediation at the University of St Andrews (2021-2023) and a BA degree in International Relations (with a year abroad) at the University of York (2017-2021). As part of these programmes he completed two student exchanges - a full year at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Saint Petersburg (2019/20) and a semester at the University of Belgrade (Semester 1 2022/23)

His current research investigates the external actors’ influence on the internal situation concerning state fragility, democratization and ethnic conflict with special attention given to Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the European Union.
